Christmas arrived a little early this year at Friary Care in Weymouth as residents and families came together for a joyful afternoon of festive fun. As one of the warmest and most community-focused care homes in Weymouth, we are always looking for ways to bring families closer and create meaningful moments for the people who live with us.
Residents welcomed their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to a special pre-Christmas party that filled the home with excitement. The brilliant Smartie Pants visited to provide entertainment that kept everyone smiling! There were balloon creations, singing, magical cake-making and plenty of dancing that brought people of all ages together.
The afternoon was filled with delicious food and lots of laughter. Every resident also received a thoughtful goodie bag to take away, which added an extra touch of festive cheer. Most importantly the celebration created precious memories for residents and their families.
