Friary Care Ethos

Our Ethos

Peter Fry, MD of Friary CareWe recognise that your care needs will change as time passes, but this will not be a problem to us and it should never be a problem for you.

Creating a care plan for you

We take time to understand your daily and changing needs and work with you to ensure that your care plan accommodates everything you are seeking, if you wish to engage your family in this we will be very happy.

As we age you may tend to become more frail and may find that your memory is not as good as it was, these changes are perfectly natural and do not present any reason in the majority of cases for you to move away from us, we work closely with the district nursing teams and the GP surgery to support you at all times.

Your choice of care home in Weymouth

Moving into care can initially be disruptive to your life, we understand this and share our experience, with you to make the transition as smooth as possible. We have two care homes in Weymouth, and we actively encourage you to come and meet us before you make a decision. Please call Peter Fry 01305 78 78 11 to arrange a time.

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!

Our commitment to your safe care

Throughout the pandemic we have been advised by the Department of Health, The Care Quality Commission, Public Health England, and our dedicated GP. This has ensured our ability to give the maximum protection to those who have made their home with Friary Care, our staff and their families. All our staff and residents have been offered the Covid-19 vaccine and we are looking to the future with a much easier heart.
