Two Residential Care Homes in Dorset
Friary Care has two care homes, each providing individual care to those living with us. We pride ourselves in helping people who come and live with us to leave behind those tasks that become increasingly difficult as we get older, cleaning, shopping, cooking, getting the bills paid in an increasingly paperless life and maintaining the house and the garden. Contact Peter Fry on 01305 78 78 11 to check our care home availability in Weymouth.
24-hour care and security
We ensure that our residents have 24-hour care and security, with the companionship of others and day and night support by carers they can get to know and rely on every day. Living in one of our care home meets all your needs and reduces worry and improves wellbeing, added to this we provide regular free outings and can care for you if you are ill.
We have two care homes in the centre of Weymouth offering, all the above, please call us to arrange visit us, we will provide transport and would be delighted to introduce to our residents who live with us. If you are able to visit us please feel free to bring a friend or family member, we are aware that this can help in making a decision.
Your is care our priority
We welcome people looking round at both our homes, don’t worry if it is a meal time, we are always happy to see people. The Registered Manager at Friary House is Shelly Sanders and at Kingsley Court it is Peter Fry. Peter owns both homes and Shelly and Peter have progressed from being carers themselves so they have a detailed knowledge of people’s needs.
If you choose to make your home with us, it is important to know that all our staff are on a continuous training programme, we are happy to share our records of this with you. We have residents at both care homes that have progressive dementia as they reach their later years, if they wish to stay with us and that is what their family want as well, then we will work with you. We will be introducing enhanced training at Bournemouth University starting this year in dementia care.
Whilst we have set meal times, we are happy for people to ask for a variation on these if they wish and we are very happy to serve the meals in your room if that is what you prefer and if you are hungry through the night, the staff will happily make you toast and a drink.
So please come and see us, you will be very welcome, if we are the right place for you to call home, then we will make the transition as easy as possible for you.
