At Friary Care, Easter has been a time full of joy, laughter and togetherness. Our residents have enjoyed a fun packed programme of activities, entertainment and special moments shared with family and friends, creating a truly memorable celebration.
A Joyful Start with Music, Creativity and Entertainment
Our Easter celebrations began with a fantastic visit from Danny Jukebox, who brought energy, laughter and great music to the home. Residents enjoyed singing along, sharing jokes and getting up for a dance, setting the tone for a lively and uplifting day.
Residents have also been getting creative with the help of our art coordinator, Sarah Jane. Together, they created colourful Easter decorations including chickens, eggs and seasonal artwork to brighten up the home and add to the festive atmosphere.
Bringing Residents, Families and Community Together
We were delighted to welcome visits from family and friends throughout the celebrations, making Easter even more special. A surprise visit from a friendly Easter bunny brought smiles and laughter to residents and their loved ones, creating moments that will be remembered long after the day itself.
The fun continued with games such as an egg lucky dip, along with handmade Easter baskets filled with treats for each resident.
A Traditional Easter Meal and Time to Relax
To round off the festivities, residents enjoyed a traditional Easter roast dinner followed by music and time to relax together. Sharing meals is an important part of life at Friary Care, helping to create a warm and sociable environment for everyone.
