Teddy bears, magic and plenty of laughter made for a wonderful afternoon as residents welcomed their families and children for a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Friary Care. Everyone was invited to bring along their favourite teddy bear, adding to the fun and creating a lovely talking point for residents and younger visitors alike.
Magic, Music and Family Fun
We were delighted to welcome Smartie Pants the Clown, who entertained residents and their guests with a fantastic magic show. The fun continued with a game of pass the parcel and a mini disco, with plenty of singing, dancing and laughter throughout the afternoon.
Seeing residents joining in alongside children and family members made the occasion particularly special. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for different generations to spend quality time together in a relaxed and joyful setting.
Creating Special Memories Together
Family involvement is an important part of life at Friary Care and events like our Teddy Bears’ Picnic help create opportunities for residents to share experiences and make new memories with the people closest to them.
The afternoon was filled with smiles from residents, families and children alike, making our Teddy Bears’ Picnic a great success and a memorable occasion for everyone involved.
