A Festive Visit from The Salvation Army

At Friary Care, we love welcoming local groups into our homes to create uplifting and meaningful experiences for our residents. This Christmas season, we were delighted to enjoy a special visit from The Salvation Army, who brought festive cheer, music and smiles to everyone involved.

The Salvation Army treated our residents to an incredible musical performance and sing song that filled the home with Christmas spirit. Familiar festive favourites echoed through the room, encouraging residents to join in, sing along and enjoy the moment together.

Bringing Joy Through Live Music

Live music plays an important role in care home life, supporting wellbeing, sparking memories and encouraging social connection. Our residents had a wonderful evening singing along, tapping their feet and sharing laughter.

Visits like this highlight the importance of strong community links. We are incredibly grateful to The Salvation Army for taking the time to visit Friary Care and share their talents with our residents. These connections help enrich daily life and ensure our residents continue to feel part of the wider Weymouth community.

A Big Thank You and Festive Wishes

We would like to say a huge thank you to The Salvation Army for providing such a fantastic evening of entertainment. Moments like these showcase our ongoing commitment to organising engaging activities and events that bring happiness, comfort and togetherness to our residents all year round.

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!
