Christmas at Friary House is all about togetherness, joy and creating memories that truly matter. Our recent Christmas dinner party was a beautiful celebration shared with our residents and their families and it perfectly captured the spirit of the festive season.
The afternoon was filled with festive cheer as residents and their loved ones gathered to enjoy a wonderful Christmas celebration. Seeing families come together around the table, sharing smiles, conversation and laughter, created a warm and uplifting atmosphere throughout the room.
A Delicious Three Course Christmas Meal
Everyone enjoyed a delicious three course Christmas meal. The food, combined with lovely background music, set the tone for a relaxed and joyful afternoon where residents could truly savour the occasion and enjoy time with those closest to them.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was seeing residents surrounded by their families, chatting, reminiscing and soaking up the joy of Christmas. These shared moments are at the heart of what we do at Friary Care, supporting emotional wellbeing and strengthening family connections.
We ended the celebration in the most perfect way by singing Christmas carols together. The room was filled with familiar tunes, happy voices and festive spirit, creating a sense of unity and community that will be remembered long after the decorations come down.
Thank You to Our Dedicated Care Team and Families
A huge thank you goes to our incredible staff for their hard work, care and dedication in making the day so special. We would also like to thank our families for joining us and sharing such a meaningful celebration.
Days like this remind us just how important these moments are. By coming together to celebrate Christmas as one big community, we create lasting memories and meaningful experiences for everyone involved. At Friary Care in Weymouth, we are proud to organise regular events and activities that bring joy, connection and a true sense of belonging to our residents and their families.
