All of the staff and residents here at Friary Care would like to salute the passing of WWII veteran Captain Sir Tom Moore. You are our hero.
Born in West Yorkshire, on April 30, 1920, Tom Moore heroically served his country during the second world war, and inspired the nation throughout the covid-19 pandemic by raising millions for the NHS, no doubt saving countless lives.
He brought a smile to all of our faces here at Friary Care. He reminded us that no matter who you are, and no matter what the circumstances, anyone can make a difference in this world. He truly was a British hero.
RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore, you have touched all of our hearts, and tonight we raise a glass to you.
