At Friary Care, we love finding meaningful ways to celebrate special occasions. This Mothering Sunday, we are marked the day with our very own Ladies Day, honouring all the incredible women who are part of our lives and community.

Ladies Day is about more than just Mothering Sunday. It is a chance to celebrate mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, aunties, step mums and close friends. Every woman who brings care, support and joy into our lives deserves to feel appreciated and recognised.

This inclusive celebration reflects the strong sense of community we nurture at Friary Care, where everyone is valued and celebrated.

A Relaxing Day with Music and Treats

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing and uplifting day surrounded by loved ones from across generations. Live entertainment was provided by Olivia, whose musical talents created a joyful and engaging atmosphere for everyone. Residents enjoyed a glass of fizz and took in the music, making the day feel both special and memorable.

No celebration is complete without great food. Residents and their families were treated to a delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings. Sharing a meal together is an important part of care home life, helping to strengthen connections and create lasting memories.

Creating Meaningful Moments for Residents and Families

Events like Ladies Day highlight our commitment to organising engaging activities that support wellbeing and bring people together. Whether it is through music, food or time spent with loved ones, these moments play a vital role in enriching daily life at Friary Care.

From all of our residents and staff, we would like to wish all the women in our community and around the world a truly wonderful day filled with love, laughter and happiness.

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!
