Friary Care Celebrates Friendship Day

Celebrations all ready for Friendship Day at Friary Care

Instead of Valentine’s Day at Friary Care we celebrate Friendship Day!

Friendship Day for us here at Friary Care means an opportunity to celebrate friendship in all of its forms with our amazing residents staff and families. This year we celebrated Friendship Day with each resident getting a single red rose and chocolates, topped off with a steak meal followed by a homemade strawberry heart gateau and a glass of champagne. All the while we were able to admire the amazing artwork that we decorated the home with – all made by our amazing residents.

We also made friends with some very special guests: Dainty and Annie – the amazing donkeys. Our visit from Dainty and Annie was so much fun and will always leave special memories to all of us at Friary care. We smiled, we laughed, and most importantly we made new friends.

And that is what Friendship Day is all about!

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!

Our commitment to your safe care

Throughout the pandemic we have been advised by the Department of Health, The Care Quality Commission, Public Health England, and our dedicated GP. This has ensured our ability to give the maximum protection to those who have made their home with Friary Care, our staff and their families. All our staff and residents have been offered the Covid-19 vaccine and we are looking to the future with a much easier heart.
