Friary Care Feelgood Friday

The Ranch Christmas visitors to Friary Care

Question…. Can you ever have too much tinsel ?

Today the team ventured out and sprinkled some Ranch magic to the residents at Friary Care and the smiles were catching. We had a wonderful time 🎄

It is scientifically proven that interaction with animals can bring benefits. While it might feel good to be giving a pet a good scratch behind the ear, it’s also doing physical good.

Endorphin levels, the ‘feel-good’ hormones your brain releases, rise; the release of serotonin, nicknamed the ‘happy chemical’, also increases, lessening depression and anxiety; and cortisol, a hormone correlated with stress, and blood pressure both decrease.
It comes down to a very simple truth: Animals just make us feel happier.

Have a great day, the weekend is almost here 💚🎄🐐

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!

Our commitment to your safe care

Throughout the pandemic we have been advised by the Department of Health, The Care Quality Commission, Public Health England, and our dedicated GP. This has ensured our ability to give the maximum protection to those who have made their home with Friary Care, our staff and their families. All our staff and residents have been offered the Covid-19 vaccine and we are looking to the future with a much easier heart.
