Friary House have been fundraising for World Dementia Day on behalf of Dementia UK. Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nursing charity that provides life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia. Dementia is a topic very close to our hearts, that no one should face alone, and for this reason we really went all out for our raffle and cake sale fundraiser!
Our amazing staff have made so many delicious cakes! Chocolate cake, coffee cake, carrot cake, Dorset apple cake, Victoria cake, and even hummingbird cake! And even more besides! Each one was as mouthwatering as the last, and we all had a lovely time enjoying them all together, but more than that we are all very proud to say that, in total, we raised a whopping £300.00!
