A very happy Platinum Jubilee to the Queen!
At Friary Care we have had 4 days of action-packed events!
On Thursday London’s came to Friary with London-themed decorations and we’re even going to have some lovely Pimms and champagne with the Queen! (or a cardboard cut-out of her anyway). Friary also had a platinum jubilee cream team. At Kingsley we also watched the trooping of the colour on the tv.
On Friday we unveiled our specially planted platinum tree with some words from our residents to inaugurate the event.
We followed this up with a trip to the beach… or rather the beach took a trip to Friary with fun beach themed accessories and fish and chips. At Kingsley we were amazed by a visit from birds of prey (and their handler), and in the afternoon we watched and chatted about the Queen’s event.
