New folding doors at Kingsley Court

Kingsley Court Care Home Weymouth

Kingsley Court Care Home Weymouth is a detached residence of character, providing spacious care and accommodation for eighteen residents. The residential care home is situated on the Dorchester Road in Weymouth and has ample car parking on the forecourt and at the rear we have an attractive ‘sun trap’ garden for the residents use.

The care home is close to the Post Office and shops at Lodmoor, and Greenhill Gardens which overlook the sea are only a few minutes walk away. A Church of England and Catholic Church are close by.

We uphold the following key principles, namely Privacy, Dignity, Independence, Choice, Rights and Fulfilment, and seek to uphold the Code of Conduct of the General Social Care Council, a copy of which is available on request.

Kingsley Court is a happy community, as welcoming and friendly as we can make it. We want you to feel completely at home with us. Our rooms are comfortable and can be personalised for individual residents, who are encouraged to adorn their new home with all their personal belongings. There are a number of communal areas such as a dining room,  lounge and a garden area.

Activities are arranged for residents in order that they can go shopping, go to the cinema or visit a cafe for a nice cup of coffee.

Our aim is to provide a loving and comfortable home environment for people who feel unable or do not wish to live on their own any longer. We encourage their resident’s independence, but make sure we operate to the highest professional standards. We believe it is our personal touch that makes all the difference.

Carehome.co.uk Reviews

I have now had several separate weekly stays at Kingsley Court and I cannot fault the care and attention received from your staff. Always welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much.

Mum had 2 strokes in Lockdown and we were informed she needed to go into care. Not only could we not visit her in hospital we couldn’t view care homes. From the first point of contact, I can’t fault Kingsley Care Home. They have been completely on the ball with everything I have asked. They are so friendly.
This is vitally important in these Covid times.
Mum has sadly deteriorated but they have been brilliant to both mum and in keeping me informed.

During my mother’s respite stay at Kingsley Court I found all the staff to be very friendly, caring, welcoming professional at all times. Nothing was ever too much trouble. There was a good choice of home-cooked meals every day. A good programme of activities were arranged every month and often family/friends were invited to join in. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and the safety of residents was evident. All in all, I would recommend Kingsley Court to anyone looking for a care home.
