The Queen - 1926 - 2022

Remembering our Queen

The Queen - 1926 - 2022

Today, all of us who are part of the Friary Care family raised a toast to the Queen; to the wonderful woman she was and the wonderful work she has done. We all reminisced about the memories we had of her reign over the country and of the times some of us had been lucky enough to meet her. Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth II; our thoughts are with her family at this time.

Born on April 21 1926, Queen Elizabeth’s reign began on February 6 1952 and was the longest of any British monarch in history. She married Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on November 20 1947, and had four children: Prince Edward, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne, and our new king, King Charles III.

She was a beautiful queen, who has done so much for her country. She brought a smile to all of our faces here at Friary Care, and we all have a deep pride for our majesty.

RIP to our Queen Elizabeth, you can now once again be with your beloved husband. We salute you ma’am.
God bless our queen.

My grandmother is extremely happy at Friary House. The staff are hardworking, kind, caring and always smiling. As a family, we feel comfort knowing our grandmother/mother is safe and happy. At Friary House, the team are exceptional. Thank you!

Our commitment to your safe care

Throughout the pandemic we have been advised by the Department of Health, The Care Quality Commission, Public Health England, and our dedicated GP. This has ensured our ability to give the maximum protection to those who have made their home with Friary Care, our staff and their families. All our staff and residents have been offered the Covid-19 vaccine and we are looking to the future with a much easier heart.
