We recently took two of our lovely residents out for a lovely summer’s day stroll. What was truly exceptional was that after a jaunt across the esplanade we were able to swap our wheels for some off-road action!
We were able to get up and close and personal with the sand and the sea, getting to amble along the shoreline. It was truly lovely to soak in the sun, feel the sand on our feet, hear the gentle roll of the ocean, and breathe in that crisp, clean, fresh sea air. We are so incredibly lucky to live in such an amazing and amazingly beautiful part of the world.
All in all, we had such a lovely time, having a giggle about the day’s comings and goings, but also reminiscing on so many happy memories of years gone by – with one of our residents remembering how she used to go for a midday swim during her lunch breaks!
The only way to finish a perfect day such as this was to have a cold drink and an ice cream – so that’s exactly what we did!
